Kristin is a general contractor, construction manager, and design-build entrepreneur with a rare blend of field experience and high-level project leadership. She began her career with a restoration firm, where she spent time developing a love for craftsmanship, learning about various materials and attention observing the to detail required to bring a space to life.

She went on to oversee 200+ Starbucks new store builds and renovations across the Midwest—including a key role in launching the iconic Chicago Roastery in 2019. Her expertise in timelines, procurement, contractor coordination, and high-profile openings now translates directly into the elevated, stress-free experience she brings to homeowners. Kristin continues to manage new store build-outs for Playa Bowls across the Midwest and Mountain Plains regions while growing Maison Aire.

In 2025, Kristin became a new-build homeowner herself and experienced the excitement—and overwhelm—of blank white walls and builder-grade finishes. “It’s such an exciting and overwhelming experience becoming a new-build homeowner!” Maison Aire was born from that moment — a mission to help homeowners transform new-build houses into personalized, beautifully complete homes with confidence and ease.

Inspired by her husband, David, and their daughter, Claire, Kristin approaches every project with intention, creativity, and genuine care. Her philosophy is simple: a beautiful home should not only look elevated—it should feel deeply connected to the people who live in it.
